Nabi Samwil: this is some of the orthodox jews in the synagogue that was dedicated to the burial site of Samuel... except Samuel wasn't buried here, so its pretty much a synagogue dedicated to a big mound of dirt. Nonetheless, its amazing to see the dedication of the Jews to their worship. When they pray and recite the Torah, they rock back and forth and side to side to signify praying with all their body, mind, and soul. Also they made me cover my head with this sweet hat for reverence purposes. I tried to trade them for my san diego cap, but they wanted to keep it.

  1. Will rocks back and forth during his prayers as well. Sometimes he even kicks me in the face during his prayers. Now that's dedication.
